Apple really really wants Severance to become the show of the year.
Apple rarely does marketing for its shows, but they have gone all out for Severance.
First they set up a workplace in the Grand Central Terminal in NYC, where the entire cast just went about working as if they were in the show itself.
Then they set up a very realistic Linkedin handle for Lumon Industries (the company where the protagonists in the show work).
And now they have put Tim Cook himself in an ad, where he transforms from an outie to an innie.
And you know what, I love it.
Apple is hitting all the right notes, and Severance WILL become the show of the year.
